My life has been devoted to the making of Art. It has been augmented by a variety of work, including teaching, which has given me a healthy awareness and appreciation of the world in which we live.

I am a responder to things - objects for the most part - which are my media for 3 Dimensional Art. I have collected many 'found' components to employ in my work, including manufactured and often common place objects. Such material is my initial inspiration - responding to things I love. The cohesive element in my Art is imagination.

At times the Art I make is purely aesthetic. More often it is about settings, a time and place, imbued with a bounty of ideas and impressions - gathered within to extend without.
